EDUCATION. The Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute, Inc. (ATRI) is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the professional development of healthcare professionals involved with aquatic therapy. ATRI offers continuing education courses at conferences and workshops that will advance the knowledge and skills of the aquatic therapist.

CERTIFICATION. ATRI provides information to the public on aquatic therapy topics and works with organizations whose members are healthcare professionals to serve them in the area of aquatic therapy. ATRI offers you the opportunity to become ATRI Certified, which could lead to job opportunities and salary increases!

STANDARDS. An ATRI multidisciplinary committee developed Standards for the Aquatic Therapy & Rehabilitation Industry. The six standards define the basic knowledge that aquatic therapy and rehabilitation practitioners should have. The ATRI WEBSITE provides the means to order a hard copy of these Standards. A copy may be printed from the ATRI WEBSITE. The ATRI Standards are approximately 10 pages in length.
