I. Major Resource.
ERIC is a major resource with 3,0000 documents on adapted, special, and therapeutic activities, arts (art, dance, drama, music), play, recreation, and sport for children and youth with disabilities.
These documents are available in:

A. Over 1,000 libraries: 922 in the USA; and, 120 in 25 other countries;
B. In hard copy reproduction by purchase from ERIC.

II. What is ERIC? ERIC stands for Educational Resources Information Center. ERIC is supported by the U.S. Department of Education's National Institute of Education.

III. ERIC's Homepage. The ERIC homepage tells you:

D. How to use online delivery services,
E. How to order printed documents,
F. How to pay for documents and national/international shipping.

IV. "disabilities." Articles, documents, reports, etc., about children and youth with disabilities being served in various educational, recreational, hospital, institutional, community, and other settings will be found by going to the ERIC Clearinghouse on Disabilities and Gifted Education. The key word to start your Internet ERIC search is "disabilities."
